The number of protected people with different sorts of vessels, or marine activities, is increasing. Clients now often request that the staff protecting them also possess scuba diving skills, in addition to their specialist knowledge. We have therefore implemented beginners’, intermediate and specialised diving courses in our Training Centre. In these courses we uphold and maintain the standards of the PSS Professional Scuba Schools and CMAS diving schools emphasising the protection of persons.
Our main goal in these courses is to train learners adequately for safe diving and consequently to perform protection/security tasks, First Aid delivery and water rescue. To attain this we ensure a sufficient amount of lessons and adequate scuba diving gear; we also aim to form smaller-size learner groups as they are more manageable. We require our instructors to be highly experienced, and we also designate a water based environment (swimming pool or sea) for practical element of the diving course.
It is imperative that the length of a diving course enables a learner to solidify all acquired knowledge and skills. We also consider it very important that learner groups are small-sized as there is more opportunity for exercise repetition, which enables learners to consolidate their knowledge and provides our instructors and their assistants with sufficient face-time with each learner. Our groups consist of no more than six learners per group. We should say that our courses do have a somewhat military slant, as befits bodyguards and Close Protection operatives.
We are not planning any trainings at the moment.
